Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do I need an attorney in Court?
A: You may take care of your own case in Court, but Judges will hold you to the same Rules of Ethics, Rules of Conduct and Standards of Procedures as a licensed Attorney.
Q: Do I need an attorney even for a simple traffic matter?
A: Yes! Unless you have a full understanding of courtroom criminal procedure, the criminal evidence code and insurance law, you should consult a professional attorney to help you.
Q: I paid off a speeding ticket and now my insurance has dramatically increased. Is there anything that I can do?
A: Yes. You can draft a motion for appropriate relief and petition the Court to re-open your case, reschedule the case for hearing and then enter a plea to a lesser offense that does not affect your insurance.
Q: Can I do this myself or do I need an attorney?
A: See Answer to Question #2.
Q: What is your fee for representing me in Court?
A: The fee for representation depends upon your specific case and its time requirements. Our attorneys would be glad to meet with you to discuss your case and quote you a fee.
